Just a quick update for AutoClub Speedway on May 7th. Looks like we already have 9 Camaro guys signed up as of now and i've talked to a few more that are still in the process of registering. I also have a couple none Camaro friends going too, so this looks like it's going to be a great turn out.

We got a few different levels of Driving Groups so everyone should have a fellow Camaroina in there group to chase down.

We typically show up at the Track early (6:30-6:45) in the morning so we can get our Garage spaces grouped together to hang out in the Pits. If you are one of those getting a garage, try and make it happen if you can.

I ordered a garage space when I signed up. I just need to meet and gather with the rest of you to find out where we will be located in the Camaro group! Looking forward to getting on the track.

My Nephew just signed up to run in the Blue group on Saturday May 7th, He will be driving my Z/28
He will be in the Blue group and I'll be in the High Value group (Fewer cars)
Looking Forward to seeing everyone at the track. We will be parked around the end of Garage 2, (Truck & Trailer)

All i can say is WOW. We have (15) Camaros signed up for Saturday May 7th at AutoClub Speedway

This is going to be a Great Time Out on Track. See everyone there.

Okay this is out of control. We are now up to 20 5th Gen Camaro participants for May 7th at AutoClub Speedway.

This has always been a great event to go to in the pass couple years. Off the top of my head I think we had 10-11 the first year and I believe 8-9 last year. But 20 for this time around is unbelievable.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to come out. Its going to be crazy fun tomorrow. Be safe and see you at the Track

Great day at the Track yesterday,
It was great seeing all those camaro's there
I walked around and talked with a bunch of you,
I ran in the Semi-Exclusive Group, The group had about 9 cars in it.
had a great time running with a Camaro SS (White) he was from Yorba Linda
Can't remember ever having a better time at the track.

On a down side the last group to run was the Black Group at 4:10,
Someone hit the wall in turn 2, Bad wreck, it was a blue car and I heard it was a late model
corvette,
Remember it's dangerous out there be careful and stay within your abilities

I was in the black group and chose not to run session 4 due to low fuel. After reading what you posted maybe it was good I didn't! The black group in Session 3 had a spin out with a Mustang that almost ended in tears. I did my oops in session 2 when I ran off at turn 9 with too much corner speed. It was fantastic to finally get my car on the track and get familiarized with it in the proper environment. There were a several drivers in the black group that were over their heads and were debriefed at the 2nd download. I'm hooked now as I want to learn my braking points and downshifting better.

It was great to meet everyone and the friendly atmosphere makes it that much better.

Sounds like a great time guys. Sorry I wasn't able to make it. Was still messing around with modding and tuning that morning. Sounds like it was a good day to miss running the black group anyways. lol

That is why I was in Green group! Where you should be! Hey Laguna in two weeks sign up and meet me up there!!!
