Great job on the intel. Are you taking it to the Camaro Nationals in PA?
Best of luck on the custom stripes

Anyone know what Bumblebee's actual yellow is called? Does it exist on another car??
I think its called Sunrise yellow. I like it a lot more than the rally yellow.

I have no grand plans like that, but we may drop in on a local car show or two. This sexy beast is actually my wife's 'dream' car. I'm just having it dressed up so she'll have one sweet daily driver...and besides, I get to spend a little time behind the wheel myself.

Our original idea when ordering the car, was going after the 'Bumblebee' look becaused we were moved beyond words during that scene in the movie "Transformers" where the concept version first appeared.

I did toss around a few ideas however, such as adding a pearl or marblelizer to various colors, or even a 'silver or charcoal' metallic stripe that fades to a black fringe on the outer edges surrounded by the black pin striping. But in the end, we are staying with our first impulse and completing the look that originally blew us away...gloss black on yellow.

Hemlawk is right. It is called Sunrise Yellow. It is a House of Kolor Shimrin Designer Pearl color. The code is PBC30. Depending on where you order it, you can get a quart of the stuff for as low as $65.

Yeah.. into the BB Sunrise Yellow.. not so hot for the Rally Yellow.
If I was going as far as buying Rally Yellow because I had a love for Bumblebee.. Id have to custom paint it. Just have to. Had contemplated it.. but at this point I just want a clean Silver Ice finish. But down the road... who knows!

Awesome. Gonna get the bumblebee stripes painted on my IOM 2SS. Can't wait to see pics of the final product. These dimensions will be very helpful. Thanks!

Good move to paint on the stripes they will look awesome. We painted the stripes on our Rally Yellow at our body shop 1 week after we got the car. They look far better than the factory stripes you will love the car after you get it done. Check out our car on the Corsa exhaust web site or on the post on this site about the exhaust Corsa is building ours is the yellow one with the stripes.

Great idea, love the looks.

I also am going for the "Bumblebee look" maybe we will have more details on exact stripe dimensions if GM launches the Bumblebee version 1 June.
