Unless your parents are bitching or are hinting that they dont like that you are spending the money on the car then who cares what people online think. Maybe show some appreciation though and give a little per month or something (not saying you don't just a suggestion).

I wouldn't go back to living with my parents again, not unless it was a last resort.

That's what caused the financial crash...people thought that home values could only go up! Some people are slow learners.
Besides, what good is a garage without a cool car to put in it?

None of us really need a camaro and it's definately not a good financial investment, but that's not what it's about. It has already been a good investment for me with all the great people I've met through my camaro. The feeling I get when I drive my camaro tells me I made a good investment in myself.

im sorry, i've been blessed, not many 22/23 year olds have the opportinity to purchase a car like this. dont get me wrong, i've had 750$ a check taken out before i got my hands on it and going directly to my credit union account since i can remember... parents are moving within the next year or so, so why not stick around and be able to save over 1400 a month?
thats my logic
Good logic, those old guys you work with are just jealous. Put down 30 feet of rubber for them the next time you leave work.

Annoying as hell, I say "different strokes for different folks, if you had a Harley Ultra Classic that wasn't costing you anything, you wouldn't sell it."

He says, "well I have a house, but I need a new bike"

He needs that bike about as much as I need my car, and I already have 2 bikes.

He has a 2002 Harley electraglide classic that is his baby.

Everything with wheels depreciates.

Hey...if you can afford to keep the car...then he can blow what he says out his @$$.

I'll just chime in here... I'm 23 own my own house (and a very nice house at that) have my dd and just sold my secondary truck to order a camaro... sure it's a little harder on the budget...but you can't put a price on your own house...it's just...nice.

Id rather have a house than a camaro. Being 24 and living on my own Id much rather bring a girl back to my own place then mom and dads.

I don't care what car you drive, who you hang with etc

But get the hell out of you parents home. You must have the self esteem of plankton. Mommy may say she loves having you around, but they have done their duty. Now go do yours and give them some life of their own.

This thread is really pathetic

There is some 33 year old who says he's living with his parents because he had some realtionship that went south and cost him a bunch of money, then the economy went south and he got laid off etc. Good god.
If you're a 33 year old living with mommy and daddy, you should be out hustling work, any kind of work and giving the money, every dime you make to your folks, not hanging out on a Camaro board. Every day one gets their sorry ass out of bed, they make decisions. A sufficient number of bad ones will put your in the shitter. Don't ask the folks to bail you out. I suspect they have their own issues (we all do), and they don't need dealing with your mistakes.

Sometimes you have to live for today. Our cars are awesome everyday we look at, or get in them. They are jealous.
