My Bowties ...

I went to get my bowties painted but it wasnt what I wanted. I wanted just the inside of the bowtie to get painted red while the outside stays chrome but the shop came out with this ... what do you guys think ...

but they are gonna fix and do it the way I want.

I really like it like that. Plus it seems to blend with your painted tail light bezels.

Appreciate the comments I'm kinda torn between keeping it like that or getting it how I wanted and make the Black Chrome to match the SS badges

You should always get what you want never settle! If you do you will always question it but on that note they do look nice either way its a win.

I think it looks pretty good! Just get the chrome parts of the SS badges painted black to match!

That's a lot easier said than done... you'll have a huge jagged hole in the middle of your grille.

I think the chrome edging would look better. Having the SS badges with the chrome edges and the bowties with black just throws it off, IMHO.

I read in another thead that the front one is just a clipped on and to take fishing line and go behind the one in the back then you some reson remover to take off any of the glue left behind.

Is that bowtie painted or is that a vinyl sticker?

I actually think you should keep it the way it is. It matches your blacked out tail light accents perfectly. If the bowtie was chrome, it would be the only chrome piece on your car...

Tough decision. I think the front might look better with the chrome, but I really like your new one on the back.
