I'll go off of what my dad has experienced. He had a 69 z28, i know its supposed to be an ss. he worshiped that car and never stopped talking about it..... until he had a taste of modern muscle...a c6 corvette, i know also not an ss. the point is that you get the looks and the feel of a muscle car with modern amenities and comfort. and for that reason i say 2010. Hell i might sell my nova for it.

It's called a JOB! It helps with things like this. Plus, it helps with a little thing called FOOD. Now, I might have to do with out a tank of AVfuel in order to but the grits on the table, but, I've got to have the Camaros!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some weeks we eat less chicken and more collard greens. But, don't forget, we know how to grow the vegies!!!!

I've always wanted a '69 RS and if I could only have either a '10 Camaro or a '69 Camaro, its the '69 all the way, it's not even close.

Now you got me wanting to weigh mine, because I thought they were closer to 3200 lbs.
I have to slightly go back on my position earlier in that if we're talking an everyday driver, I'd prefer the 2010. If we're talking about a weekend cruiser, it's the 1969 all the way. I'm thinking that both would be great |

Bought a 69 Z28 new and sold it a couple years later to enter the Air Force. In 2004 found almost identical Z28 that was pretty much stock with 60k original miles. I couldn't believe how bad it handled, cornered, braked and performed. I'm sure the new Camaro will be a pleasure to drive compared to the older Camaro. But your right about the old ones will hold or gain in value, were the 2010 will drop money the day you drive away from dealership.

69 hand down no 2010 will never out pace the resale of a classic not to mention every year the 69 becomes more valuable and could buy a 2010 at a later time. I can't tell you how many time I passed on a few good deals that had I had room i would buy it, hold it for a few years and fixed some minor issues turned into big $. A 56 Chev Sedan delivery for $3000 always haunts me.
