Was stationed in Zweibruchen and Spangdalem. Enjoy the beer and fraulines. Wish I was there.

Bought my 1LE in Germany from MKO V8 which seems to be a partner of Joemann motors.

Don't which one of them did the minor changes for fitting European laws but the job done was awesome and overall price of car was really reasonable.

Both of 'em have websites. Talked to MKO V8 guys once, they were friendly, helpfull and english speaking ;-)

Welcome in Europe! Don't know how many 1LE in Europe, but we're now at least 2!

Spent 2 years in the Wurzburg area in early 80s. Autobahn is great, but I enjoyed the beautiful country two-lane country roads even more. Had an Audi80 wouldn't go over 90.

I'm sure sooner or later you'll gonna spot another camaro in Germany. There are thousands of them here - what still makes them pretty exotic - but you'll be surprised - especially come spring

The above mentioned forum is one heck of a community - check it out - language though is 95% German I'm afraid...

Hey man, from one veteran to another, thank you for your service.

Maybe get a decent dash cam and post some video of Audubon driving, since that would be 100% legal and then the mods hopefully wont delete it as "racing"

Get some Solo or Magnaflow resonators.

I f you are in the military, take the car to a military base to have it inspected they are much easier to pass inspection.

Yes, resonators will help quiet it down a bit.

Put stock manifolds on, pass inspection, then throw the headers back on. Sucks but is easiest way without having to modify your current exhaust set up.
