I don't understand tow hooks being rocked like a gold chain or spinning rim

Am I the only one who thinks a tow hook on the front of a sexy car is fugly? These are meant to install if, heaven forbid, you break down or crash and need to drag the car from a horrible situation. And there is a tow hook in the trunk for just this, install it, tow it, then remove it, no?

Just think of it was a nose ring.

So if the tow hook in the grille is like a nose ring what does the tow hook in the back bumper equate too (not relevant in the camaro but like you see on hondas)

Not sure why, but I think people feel the need to fill in the circular gap. I think it distracts from front end especially if red.

If you put the tow ring in....after you paint it red. You can make a 20 minute video about it.

To each his own, but I agree, it's not a look I care for.

I like it on my Red hot ZL1. Matches it nicely and compliments the aggressive front end.

It makes sense on a track car at the track.

It can also be used to winch your car up onto a trailer if you trailer your car to/from events.

Maybe someone has installed a tow hook because they actually track the car.

Most tracks require it.

Yup it’s a track thing. Very practical if you track your car and I think they look cool!
