Personally I've always like the concept gauges...

I agree, the concept gauges are pretty sweet compared to the current ones.

The biggest issues I would have is with the speedometer`s 25-50-75MPH increments.
Most speed limits either city (30,35MPH) open roads (55MPH) and inter-states (65-75MPH) would be be guess work at best trying to read the speedometer needle`s position.

There would be one side benefit, if a cop pulls you over and ask "Do you know how fast you were going?" you could honestly answer "Nope, not a clue".
