Death of a camaro and driver.

I was witness to an accident to day in KS. There was a camaro that wrecked very bad. I herd the car coming and the driver lost control of the car. It must have been moving better then 100mph. The car fish tailed at least 3 times and went over the median and slammed into a guard rail. when the cat hit it spun around 6 times before coming to a stop. I found out the driver was an 19 year old college student It was her first sports car, and sadly her last. Also If someone wants pics you can kiss my ass. you never take pics of something like this.

You take pics of something like that and show it to some of the young drivers and it might just teach them to respect speed and make them realize that a car is a deadly weapon! You don't have to show them the graphics. I for one am lucky that I am still alive today after totaling two performance cars in my teen years.

As bad as this sounds, I agree wholeheartedly. The situation is tragic. However, nothing more can be done to help that driver. He or she made a fatal decision to race on the streets/freeways. Maybe pictures would help deter some immature folks from sealing their fate in the same manner. If we can help save a life, that would be the only possible saving grace.

There's another reason I am on that side of the fence when it comes to younger drivers with faster cars. I see it more than most users on this forum. But I wouldn't take pictures if I was there (I'd probably try and help), but if an investigator took pictures those would be good to show the general public (after getting the ok from the family of course).

You ALWAYS take that picture, with the hopes someone else will see it, and maybe think twice before driving irresponsibly.

Try being an EMT that deals with the aftermath of this kind of driving.

Well, if she's dead, the EMT doesn't really have much to deal with.
Hmmmmmmm............care to reconsider?

Death and its aftermath is a ghostly thing to witness first or second handed....EMT's, Passengers, Police, Eye Witnesses, Coroners, Family, Friends, and at times total strangers at minimum generally participate in the grieving processes to some degree or another...................... Casper.

I have many times working in an ER had to go with the physician to tell a family that their loved one has died as a result of a street race...
