Price is the only reason why I won't consider another Camaro, let alone a 6th gen. But by all measures, ones that matter that is, the 6th gen is completely superior, especially in price.

For me personally, I am totally into the retro thing. And I really do love Camaro, I dig owning one. I'm not a fan of the 16 look either. Seems Euro to me. And that sucks because I guess I'm one and done with Camaro. I mean, my rear seats I fit my 8 year old and my 14 year old and her friends no problem when I pull my seat up but it's a bit tight, I can't imagine it being any smaller back there. I am taking my Camaro to be inspected tomorrow and I plan to go to the Chevy showroom and see if they have any 16 Camaros to check out.
I also think 35k for a V6 is crazy. My mom's Acura MDX was 50k and it's like a starship in there I can't imagine paying that much for a Camaro. And if the V6 was 35k I would be driving a Challenger right now instead of a Camaro that's way out of my price range. Chevy needs to realize Camaro is a muscle car not a BMW. |

and the 1SS starts at $37,295. How much the cars cost above that is up to the buyer and what they want to add to it. http://www.chevrolet.com/camaro-spor...-zipcode=77095 For 2015 the 1LT started at $27,000 (although the 1LS, not offered in 2016, started at $24,000) The 1SS Started off at $34,500. http://www.chevrolet.com/2015-camaro...XBJZCI6bnVsbH0=@ |

That 2016 1LT is a 4 banger for that price too...

The new Camaro's are gorgeous but maybe 40K for a V6 and 50K for a V8 is a bit much, no?

Or sales are slow because everyone is waiting for the 50th anniversary editions?

The real reason is because they aren't much 2016 available yet. Only the ones on orders are being delivered and a few dealer allocation for now. There are still too many 2015 on lots to sell...those need to go first...

Too expensive IMO. Camaros and Mustangs are supposed to be affordable sports/muscle cars. A V-8 approaching 50k+ is out of reach for the intended target audience. Young blue collar/working men.

There isn't an availability issue, at least not like some are trying to say. There are 14 available just in my sleepy part of Southern Oregon.

When car companie release a new model ..all the incentives are introduced to get rid of previous model year cars in a timely manner. Once mass pro starts there is zero concern for older models on lots.
