Has Anyone Figured Out An 18" or 19" Drag Radial & Wheel Combo

I know I saw a thread on this before, But I someone could point me in the direction of wheel and tire set up for the 1/4 would be great. Looking at a once in while set up to go to the track. Just do not want to kill me street tires.
Thank in advance for the help

I am looking at using Mickey Thomson 32.50 35 18, on a custom built American Racing wheel to get the correct fitment including clearing the calipers

I don't plan on doing any modifications to my car, so I don't need a huge amount of help (over stock) for launching. I was thinking about going with the Toyo R888R's (315/30zr20) and put them on a spare set of stock rims.

That way I could drive to and from the track with no issues and change back to my "standard" tires the next day.

I could also use these tires to help launch at the Texas Mile and not have to worry about speed rating at the 175+mph I hope to achieve there.

R888 isn't a great strip tire. Won't have the wrinkle in the sidewall like you want, even if just a bit. MT is the way to go...

335/35/20 nt05s wont fit. I kept mine off the 5th gen zl1 and they are way to big. 305 is probably the largest unless you get some wonky offset rim.

Ben at WeaponX said that he was able to run a 17" Weld rim and 305/45/17 MT with success.

I was thinking of doing the same thing for now.

That sounds cool, I am assuming custom built rim?
