Procharger D1-x

Has anyone installed the new Procharger D1-x? How does it compare to the older D1SC? Also what dealer has the cheapest price? It's currently $6,277 at JDP Motorsports. Would they be cheaper on Black Friday?

How much power should I expect too? It's going on a 2017 SS 1LE, and will also be installing longtubes at the same time. I may also add the flex fuel kit to run E85 too. Any other input would be great too. Thanks.

Unless you upgrade your fuel system I think you will max it out your fuel system with e85 at least upgrade to lt4 injectors and pump.

Agreed...from what I have read E85 is going to max your fuel system well before you make peak power with a D1X.

I will be installing a D1X on my 17 1LE... Procharger is having massive delays with their product due to an intercooler shortage or some related supplier issue with them. I ordered my kit at the end of July with a 4week delivery window. As of today I have no kit, nor any definitive timeline on when its coming. I would strongly suggest you verify a date they can deliver the kit. So you can plan accordingly

That being said on pump/meth you should see low 600whp with the blower making 8 to 10psi at a max. Stock pistons are iffy and using E85 will quickly max out your fuel system at a lower HP number. I would suggest just pump/meth until you decide on a fueling solution

Stage 2 systems are shipping, and we have loads of cores.

The "Race" air-to-air intercooled systems are still about 1-2 weeks out.

We bought every single intercooler core we could get our hands on a few months back, and those companies have been playing catch up. Seems everyone in this industry is selling stuff like hot cakes, and the vendors in niche markets (like heat exchanger cores) is doing all they can to catch up.

NOTE: Kinda like nobody having N20 for the better part of this entire year! Since there was a supply issue due to a plant failing.

What is the max power stock injectors and stock fuel pump can support on 91? What about 91 and meth?

D1SC on 91 and meth, made 630whp on a dynojet that reportedly was "showing low numbers"

Stock fuel, in your case 1LE means you have the upgraded intank pump already, you'll make about 580ish depending on how your high side is. It's sort of a crap shoot.

I'd say have the meth on hand even for just cooling. Be mindful of the larger pulley that will come on that guy if you go with say 9psi or less. The pulley takes a small bite of the hood liner.

Yeah I was just told my Stage 2 P-1X system is in the mail as of Today and I only ordered it a few days ago. Though I thought the Stage 2 came with a Race intercooler but I can't find ANY documentation saying what is actually in the Stage 2 kit.

Awesome news man!

The stage 2 comes with the stage 2 intercooler.

The "race" air to air intercooler is an upgrade option for the stage 2 kit.
Then the "competition" air to water, is a totally different system.

I am hoping the race a2a intercoolers are only 2 or so weeks out. I get home from deployment at the beginning of Nov and was hoping to install my kit when I get home. I ordered Sep 15th.

I also ordered the D1X but just as others have stated its going to max out the fuel system on low boost levels. Im hoping to see somewhere between 8 and 10psi before we have to upgrade fuel system.

I have the stage 2 intercooler and it works great. My IATs have never been horrible as long as my car is moving. You will love that kit!
