50K?
I don't think it's that cheap. Does anyone know what a Nascar Cup car roughly costs?

The reason that the underside and engine compartment is red is because this the Victory Red ZL1 that was introduced at the Chicago Auto Show in April with the polished wheels, no sunroof and manual transmission. They wrapped the car in a Carbon Flash paint color for the auction. After the auction is over they will peel the carbon flash color off and send it to it's next display location. I know because I was there and saw the car myself and spoke with Chevy reps at the ZL1 display. The car in my avatar, is the car hiding under the Carbon Flash wrap.

We all guessed Rick Hendrick would buy it or Leno! But I think the first ZL1 will sell for a lot more!

Just like you giving to your favorite charity, you can claim that on taxes. Each year I give clothing, articles and other things to Goodwill and I can claim it on my taxes. Business expenses have been around forever. You take a person to lunch and talk a little about your business or product you write that lunch off as a business transaction. Rick will right that money off and more than likely have the ZL1 he gets sitting in his showroom for a period of time and either keep it or sell it to the highest bidder one day but rest assured, HE'LL BE ONE OF THE FIRST TO GET ONE WHEN THEY ROLL OFF THE LINE, I DON'T CARE WHEN YOU ORDERED! As they say, Money talks and walks!
