Mileage in your camaro?
Hey guys, ever since switched from my Hyundai Elantra to my Camaro 2SS/RS, I knew that I would be paying more in gas, without a doubt. I know peeps have talked on here what they run in their car, the number of miles they put on it, etc., but I'm just curious to know about what kind of gas mileage peeps get on here? What's the highest you've seen?
So far, I average about 22-23 mpg, about 75% highway, 25% city miles. Now, of course, I'm going by the 'Average Fuel Economy' display on my car, and I haven't checked to see if it's accurate, but I assume it is (correct me if I'm wrong!). So far, I've found that I can get 27-28 mpg highway if I'm reeeaalllyy light on the throttle (which is pretty damn hard in this beast ) What kind of mileage do you get in your Camaro? SS, LS, LT, whatever. I find myself playing the game where I try to see how high I can get the AFE display |

20.5 MPG and glad for it! My Escalade was about 14, so this Camaro is a marked improvement.

Just over 20 mpg average. But i don't pay attention. It's too much fun to drive this car to care about gas mileage.

Here we go again for the umteenth time.....I am getting 30+ I live out in the stix and have many different techniques for saving fuel.
But when I really just want to have fun and get on it , I rarely get less than 25 MPGs. Don't ask me how because I really dont feel like getting flamed and/or accused of exaggerating things right now. Whether or not you believe me doesn't really matter because after all is said and done, it is I who fills that tank up and pays for it.

I can't wait to take my Camaro to the mountains (about an hour away for me) -- I've never loved curves until I got the Camaro (Excluding the motorcycle) |
