Dealer has a NEW 2014 SS won't budge on MSRP

A local dealer here still has a new 2014 SS and wants MSRP for it. Has anyone else seen or bought a 14, or even 15 recently? What should you expect off sticker at this point? 20%?

I am thinking hard about trading into a 14/15 SS.

I bought a new 14 2SS back in September. It was right at 20% off sticker before taxes.

I bought a new 2015 2SS/RS last week for 15% off MSRP and got Kelly blue book for my 2013 2LT/RS. Tried to buy a hail repaired 2015 Green Flash Edition but could not get them down to what I thought was a fair price for a hail repaired car. Dealer still has it. I see you are in Florida, that may make a difference, In Minnesota this is not exactly the sports car time of year. That being said if you are going to pay MSRP you may as well get a 2016.

At MSRP you'd be losing money like crazy. I'd be willing to give them KBB used price for it because that's all it's worth the second you drive it off the lot.

I had a Texas dealer offer me a choice of 2 2014 2SS/RS convertibles for $37k right before Christmas. MSRP was $46-47k. Online value guides put the car at $32k used with 500 miles on it. They wouldn't come off the 37, so I moved onto the 2015 I ended up buying for less than $37k. Not an RS, but still a good deal.

Exactly what I told the salesman about the 2015 that I bought. I said I buy it today, drive it home, bring it back tomorrow and you will tell me it's a year old used car, so that is about all I'm willing to pay.

Let me clarify:

I will NOT pay MSRP or anywhere near that. I was curious to see deals other people have gotten on a new car that is now 2 years old.

There is usually a reason a dealer has a 2-3 year old "new" car on the lot at this point. IMo if they don't want to deal then they can sit on it forever.

Just bought 2015 1LT RS Auto. Sticker was $31K, got it for $26.5K plus 0% finance. It had the $2K in Holiday cash on it.
