Local to me Z/28 for sale Fort Wayne

These don't pop up much around me for sale so I had to go take a look.

Looking around on Facebook yesterday and Fort Wayne Glenbrook Dodge had listed this 2015 Z/28 AGM with 49xx miles for $45699, got to thinking hey this one is close enough that maybe I'll just go take a peek, figured it would be not very nice being a 3 owner and passed around some.

Parked next to a Hellcat the Z looked mean with bigger tires lower stance just a more racey look all around as these cars do....got me to thinking maybe I should have an other one to add to my horde..... maybe I shouldn't

Anyway maybe someone local to me that is in the market for one of these special cars should go take a look, if you buy it at least I'll stop thinking about it!

It shows 3 owners on carfax, looks as if its been passed through a few auctions as some of these cars have when dealers trying to move there stock but overall condition is nice inside and out with a few walk around's, does have a/c- speakers, has the clear bra on the front and forward of the rear wheelwheels, mild 2 wild exhaust controller, nice 427 badges on the hood, pretty nice for one of these with 5k miles. It does have the tire sidewall dry cracking starting on the original tires, also missing the rain tray, but does have the owners manual with most of the paperwork and window sticker in the glovebox.

Not many for sale this year around the country compared to last year and this color is one i'd really like to have.....someone should scoop this thing up.

Sorry picture quality... phone needs replaced

Wouldn't be surprised if I've seen that car on 465 before. If so one of those owners drives like a complete idiot in evening traffic...

That's a LOT of miles to be asking that price. Just in time for the new owner to do the brakes on it. I paid right around the same for a Z with 4600 miles, still on original oil. I'd pass on it. A more realistic price IMHO would be $35k-$37k.

Its hard telling for sure but the car does not look like it had a idiot owner, I know the dealer told me they got it at auction in Ohio so I guess its possible that you may have seen it around Indy who knows. Car fax show it started out in New Mexico then to Michigan then to Ohio. Not many on the road or at least around here.

The rain try under the hood extractor that is removable that keeps water out if the engine compartment for washing or rain, a lot have said on here that they remove them and always run without them. Basically is a factory under cover for the hole in the hood that is removable.

agm is such a nice color on z's.

decent price, tires can definitely be used as leverage in negotiating price

I had seen this car before the thread was posted and this lit a fire under me to buy it before someone else. It was delivered today and I haven’t had too much time with it. Thanks to the previous owner and the OP for making me feel comfortable about the purchase. I remember watching the announcement of the Z/28 and have wanted one since. My last Camaro was a 91 Z28 which I owned for 15 years but sold 5 years ago.

The clutch engagement on this car is sort of sudden, is that normal? It is a lot different from my Viper but maybe I need to get used to it. The tires do have some cracks, should I replace with OEM or is there a different tire that works better?

What are some of the must do mods? Already have the wicker bill on the way.

Lastly I produce aftermarket parts for the Vipers and hope to develop some for The Z/28 / Camaro as well - are there any products that aren’t available? Any weaknesses with the car that could be addressed with a higher quality solution? Once I have some products for the Camaro I will become a site sponsor.

Thanks
Doug
