I believe I've settled on the RPS triple carbon clutch... Another expensive one but the black pig is running it... And it's rebuildable...It is also known as the street slayer

Can't go wrong there. Lots of high HP cars using those.

It's Official,

I'll be ordering the RPS Triple (Slayer) clutch from Hendrix Engineering tomorrow morning...

Thomas was great to deal with, and after a bit of explanation on the process and research that went into the clutch, I feel it is what I need to do in conjunction with my new trans/diff etc drive line...

It's slowly but surely coming together...

Hey Robert are you going to track your car before the fest?

And are you still going to the Gathering and will you have your car in time?

I have every intention of tracking it before the Fest... Wanna go at it with me...

Seriously, I need the seat time, and Corey and I both need the time on the track to sort out the AMS 1000 Boost controller...

I still intend on attending the Gathering, but it's too far out to commit completely...

Corey and I decided today that we are going to add a third fuel pump to the car... This will be an external pump with at least 240-250 l/hr capability at 60 psi... We will run a separate fuel line and rails and use a check valve to prevent the dual pumps from back feeding into this line... We will control this third pump with a Hobs switch that will power the pump on at a given psi of boost... say ten psi... We know we are good to 10 psi of boost with fuel, but with the install of the boost controller, we dont want to run out of fuel with only one or two lb's of additional boost...

The third pump will sit around patiently waiting for the oppurtunity to come online and assist the other two with feeding the 93 lb/hr injectors... we feel confident this will easily allow us to approach 18-20 lbs of boost or more... which should have us well... WELL over 1000 RWHP without spraying.... Then add in a wet shot and Katy bar the door.... a 150 wet shot in this big motor with turbo boost could get us into stratospheric HP/TQ numbers

If we run out of injector before we get to where we want to be, then we'll deal with that as needed...

Make sure to read up on the NHRA tech book for external pumps...they have a few requirements if I recall correctly.
