2010 GT500

Took the wife down to the Ford dealer to look at the new 2011 Mustang GT with the 5.0. While we were there, they had a 2010 GT500 on the showroom floor. Black with white stripes and just gorgeous. Needless to say she fell in love with it.

Instead of looking at a 2011 GT I am now working insurance and financing numbers on the GT500. I know the 2011 will have the aluminum block and weigh less but I may have some bargaining room on the 2010.

I really cannot believe I am typing this....

That's funny. I just picked up my synergy green Camaro last Friday. The wife went and looked at a vert. GT500 this afternoon and wants to get it!

Hmm, I think I found my weekend car!

If my wife walked over and looked at a GT500 and wanted it, I'd let drive right down to the court room in it for the divorce papers.

I tease.. but i'd use it to my advantage and tell all my ford buddies its a girl car

Lol!

After 15 years of marriage our recent cars are really the only splurge we have made. I am thankful she shares the interest.

you would probably get a discount on the 2011 as well. considering a lot of dealers are offering invoice on the 5.0. either way shes a ridiculously lucky woman, her husband lets her have a faster car than him ?!?!?!?!?!

Damn man very awesome cars.

Get the super pack and then the ford racing suspension pack. The Super Snake pack will give you a rated 650 hp with your factory warranty. The FR suspension from what I heard is going to be better than even the new SVT package, sans the tires of course.

Thanks all!

I think short term we will enjoy the cars for what they are.

Looking into a JLT intake tube and air filter for the GT500 in a few months.

Hahaha!!!!

Not yet. If I go forced induction I will go Kenne Bell.

If I stay N/A I will do cam, ported heads, and tune.

All in due time.
