Pop Up Lights?
Any body else wish they would have had the pop up lights for the RS package like they did back with the 69s? After all this car is supposed to be base off that 69.

I believe those type of lights are illegal now. That's why the Vette doesn't have them anymore.

These were discussed long ago, and I believe if I recall correctly, it was mentioned the impracticality of them now, ie; the time and money invested to make them work properly, v. the potential problems of offering them.

they are not Illegal, it's just the complexity of them and reliability of them is a problem. the law is that they can have covers over the lights but they must be able to open in a very short period of time..I cannt remember how long but i think it was less than 2 seconds.
If you want to recreate the look the Heritage grill like is on Jr's car makes the front look similar. Just wish that had been part of the RS package from the factory...

They've been outlawed for years. Why do you think the new vette doesn't have them.
