Mirror whistling?
I keep hearing a whistle sound coming from my outside drivers mirror when I am going around 30mph. Anyone hearing this noise? Seems to go away when I put my hand in the space between the mirror and the door. Its driving me nuts.

I think I found it. I put tape around the mirror and it went away. Its the seem in the mirror where the 2 pieces come together. So far so good. I'll fill it with silicon or some crap if the tape truly fixed the noise. Will find out on the drive to work tomorrow for sure.

Anybody know if there is an aftermarket mirror that will work as replacement for the stock ones? Lambo mirrors? LOL.

Hey thanks. I am seeing a bunch of replacement mirrors at JCWhitney. I might pick up a set. Now how do I get these off?

So what do you guys think? Too ugly? Its the only real option I'm afraid for replacement.

WAY too ugly for such a beautiful car! Duct tape would look better.
You might search for "2010 Camaro mirrors hoods spoilers" to broaden the number of aftermarket companies you find. There will probably be a lot of sites without any mirrors, but maybe someone has them. |

anyone have a good solution for this yet. mine is doing it and it's annoying! I haven't messed with it much, but maybe if the seem between the front and back of the mirror was filled, it would stop?

I noticed that as well. Figured it was from the design and looks like I was right. I usually have my ipod blaring when my windows are down so I really don't hear it, or I just drive faster, lol.
