You are correct sir. I wasn't even aware of that. I like that. Hmmm.......

I'm sure they could do red stitching on it as well to match the HW interior. That'd be pretty slick. lol

My local dealer (Cook GM Superstore / Vassar, MI) received an SS Automatic Hot Wheels over the weekend. Took a few pics showing the car fresh off the truck still wrapped in plastic.

I would have been all over this car, but I'm hoping to get a new Z/28!

Nice, few more weeks for ya! Mine and mhoskins may be on the same train this week! Dealer advised mine should be in by this weekend.

I would definitely say it is on the same train. Mine is supposed to be in by the latest on the 18th.

There has been a lot of discussion about this on this forum and on TPW 2/4. Every car I've seen photos of have gloss black engine covers which are unique to this car, however I was expecting them to be blue like the build sheet reads.

Hey all,

One of our friends in the San Diego area found these at a Chevy tent at a classic car show. She was kind enough to pick one up and send it to us. If you're into documenting your HWSE, this might be something to look for. I haven't seen anything like them. This card is slightly smaller than a standard piece of copy paper. Pretty cool!

The engine cover IS gloss black, unfortunately NOT Kinetic Blue.
