I just spoke to my dealer and they are stating I cannot place an order till Jan or Feb? Is this accurate or am I missing something?

Sigh....

Your dealership should be able to order the car via the GM workbench quick order on Oct. 29th. If they don't want to then I would suggest finding another one to work out of. There are a few dealerships on the forum that will gladly treat you like a king, take your order and help you either have it delivered to your home town dealership or you can pick it up with them.

Um dude, The first chance I get to look at a computer is at work and that's around 0645 (6:45 am for you civilians) and then sometimes I'm a little late getting on.

I'll be honest, I'm surprised that Tran does not have an event count down timer on top of the forum for this monumental event. He did it for Camaro5 Fest, so maybe he should do it for this too.

Thanks everyone that is enjoying my silly little count down. I keep looking at the calander and it was going so slow at first, now that I'm doing this it seems to be speeding up a bit.

Anyways, for everyone getting, wanting, waiting, wishing, hoping for the ZL-1 It's coming much faster than we expect now. GM is opening up so much information each week, it's a good time to see this car born.

I think everyone that has enjoyed this trip of the ZL-1 should flood Fbodfather's in box with thank you's and congratz for getting this project done. Everyone at GM deserves to know how much we appreciate what they are doing for the Camaro fans in this time of financial stress.

can someone please tell me what the dang GM quick order workbench entails? I think I may have to go to a diff dealer because they are not aware of this. So are you saying Oct 29th I can place my order for the car thru the dealer and does this mean I can get my color, trim level et.c etc. or is this just them telling GM, hey we want a car so reserve us a spot?

yea my dealer told me orders aren't going to start until the end of the year.. lol I can't believe they leave the dealers so uninformed on whats going on.
