Nice try though but really not a good comparison, buyers would be much better off waiting for the new GT350 or picking up a used 13/14 500.

Also I hope they have better luck than Roush's attempt at a supercharged 5.0.

Thought the same thing. I run about 9lbs of boost on previous Coyote motor (from 2013), with just factory tune from Vortech I'm at 600 at the crank so 7.25PSI doesn't sound right.

I know this new version has BOSS style heads when it comes to flow, plus the cams too. But only 7.25 psi of boost? Typo.....

they say pricing starts at 59k which means all the really good stuff they mention is extra. Also only at 3 year 36k warranty mean for the powertrain as well? isn't Dodge powertrain warranty 100k 6yr?

Doesn't the new 5.0 now run a forged crank and forged rods? The pistons are the questioned part of the equation, being cast aluminium, albeit redesigned and utilizing steel ring carriers and cooled via oil squirters.

I'd rather go the Hellcat route with a full warranty instead of rolling the dice on a Hennessey.

This version of the Coyote gets a new heavy duty forged crank, it's a new PN, but it does get the Boss's forged connecting rods, but not forged pistons (yet).

It's a very stout build

Hellcat looks better but that mustang will be faster due to weight.
