Street driving can be worse... I will foul out plugs in literally a few miles and o2 sensors shortly after that... my longest road drive in the last four or five years was 25 miles...

I'm always broke because I spend all my damn money changing shit on the car...and then it sits in the garage. Instead of just driving the bloody thing !! lol But I'm quite happy it's there and can be driven if I want. Really need to change that and drive more often and stop changing shit !.....as I get ready to buy a new oil pan etc lol. |

Off to the dyno tomorrow @ 1pm. Let’s see how far the single ZL1 pump will get me.

Some good some bad. I reached the limits of the street slayer carbon billet, but didn’t reach the limits of the ZL1 pump lol.
So, good day at the dyno for the most part. Clutch decided that 900rwtq was all it would take lol. I didn’t get to push the car to 18psi like I wanted (I didn’t even play with the timing either). Good results though: 10psi - 780rwhp/843rwtq (13 deg pk tq 15 deg pk hp) 13psi - 844rwhp/913rwtq (13 deg pk tq 15 deg pk hp) Clutch wouldn’t let me go up. ZL1 pump @61% DC Overall, car ran good. Drove home nice, no known issues. Breaks the tires loose from a 3rd gear hit at 60mph! |

Edit... pk tq boost was 3psi higher than pk hp boost.
So first graph is 10psi and 13psi Second graph is 12psi and 15psi |

Those be some pretty good numbers. Gonna be exciting to see what it does at the strip.

Very nice powerband hits hard at 4500 and hp carries nicely all the way to redline

Fat is good and safe. Like to see that versus lean and more power (dangerous in my books).

I am really surprised the zl1 pump is running so well. With the meth, I wouldn’t be surprised if it supports 1000rwhp wth the 1000cc injectors

Are you running the twin or the triple carbon clutch...

So I pulled the accel extreme heat plug wires off (with ceramic boots) and two of the 8 wires had the terminal rip out and stay on the plugs. These wires had been off and on my gto multiple times before going on the camaro for the dyno.
on the ride home the log showed 14:1 A/F on my 3rd gear pull. Make me wonder if spark was weak and showed a false lean. |
