I installed Katskin leather into my 1SS (replacing the cloth).
The seats themselves are great. My only problem (within the first week) was that the seat belt loops at the top corner of the seats were falling apart (underside that rubs against the seat belt material). The vinyl material first used was not holding up to the seat belt sliding through the opening (after only a few hundred miles of driving). The installing company ordered new seat backs but with leather seat belt loops. Those were installed the next week and those have lasted just fine.
