Pre-orders in Omaha - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So how many Camaros have been ordered in the Omaha area? I ordered mine at Copple Chevrolet 11/8/08 in Louisville. I am #1 of 2 allocations.

The sales manager thinks I might get mine in mid-May.

However, I have the feeling that he really doesn't know.

I was wondering how many have ordered through the bigger dealerships and if you have any idea when your order will be filled?

My step dad is in a similiar situation as you. He is 1 of 3 on the list but because its a smaller dealership he pry won't get his till around May is what he said even though we placed his order on the first day you could. I know of some guys that placed orders at larger dealerships already have had their orders pulled for production as off a week or so ago.

Oh none that I know of in the Midwest. There is a guy down in Louisiana on another site I'm on that had his order pulled.

Not too sure about Omaha, almost every dealer that did call/email me back wanted over MSRP or had no clue about the Camaro, one of them couldn't even spell Camaro correctly. And Louisville being so small, I imagine that 'may' push things back a bit for you:( Depends on how well they do sales wise being so close to Omaha.

I did talk to few others in the area that were very helpful, but wanted to stay with a larger dealer in hopes that improved my chances to get it sooner.

My order is through Husker Auto in Lincoln, last I new they had 4 ordered and I was #2. I was told they'll get their first allocation Mar 12th.

Edit:
Just found out they have two more allocated for April, so I'm pretty happy right now.
