For every SS running 13.0 or faster there's a dozen or more that are lucky to break into the 13s at all. Not any different for the LS/LT cars.

I still haven't even put one on, still rocking the temporary permit... I'm saving that gain for when I pull out all the stops and have to start playing with aerodynamics. lol

Lowest it has ever been here since I've been racing the 5th gen Camaro locally is ~1950 if I remember right... Typically from june-oct while the track is open it will range from ~2500 to 4000...

I am not saying anyone would be dishonest cause it does stay motor stock, but didn't say anything about weight being stock. Its got to be frustrating for some that put thousands of dollars to only be a tenth faster then he is stock. I will be curious to see how mine does when we ever get some descent weather..guess I have to wait a few more months. In May or June(I forget which) in a mid 90degrees and 69% humidity day I only got a 14.2 out of mine at full weight including the spare tire. Even my car temps were the highest I have ever had, consistently running 205-215 degrees.

Got to LOVE that negative DA...........LOL.

All my top 10 runs have been in negative DA.

Track elevation is 827 ft. Best is when it is about 45 - 50 degrees. Good air and just warm enough for some traction too.

Yes, Atco raceway at 93' above sea in the late fall (40-50 degrees) is the best.

We found even at that temp, if the sun was beating down on the track with half decent prep, cars would hook up pretty good.

If cloudy/overcast, forget about it. lol

I already had headers and didn't want to lose them. Besides, I don't think there is event a turbo solution out there for an LLT yet.

Well looks like I won't be making the next race as I was planning... I was planning to just install the 3.27 geared diff this week, and do the stall converter later, but after reading up on what was involved to do just the diff swap, I figured I might as well install the converter at the same time. So I think next week I'll be able to do the diff swap as well as the converter. So I'll have to hit one of the later races like Sept 6 or Sept 20... Shame as it wouldn't be as good of conditions as the Aug 30 race I was hoping to hit.

You're my hero. Just reading your mods for the run and considering you are a '12 also and I'm thinking this might be worth emulating (slowly, surely, and one step at a time). I have been thinking lately that nitrous would be my next mod. Now I know it is.

Parts I don't have yet:

- DRs
- 3.45 gears
- SS diff
- Stall converter
- BMR Diff and cradle bushings, toe arms, trailing arms, tunnel stiffener and drivesahft loop
- Nitrous
- Tune

Aside from the nitrous itself, what other mod or mods from the list would you say have contributed most to your performance on the strip? It has only just recently sunk in to me that my burnouts tend to be a little "one sided" so the SS diff swap has been mentioned by some as the fix to that.

I have yet to completely understand what exactly an aftermarket torque converter does and how it relates to launch but if I'm thinking right, it means you can load a lot higher RPM behind it with your foot on the brake at the tree. Of course when you dump that power, if the parts down the line can't hold it, something slips, hence the DRs, etc. With my foot planted on the brake, I can only get up to about 1250 RPM +/- and no more. I don't know if that's the computer or the converter though but regardless, I launch at 1k on the stock Pirellis, else I slip.

Sorry for the ramblin'. Just trying to get my learn on.
