This tire is repairable. Right?

I got in today and got a message saying the tire was at 25lbs. After inspection I found this nail. These are run flats but I am thinking this is in a repairable spot. Am I correct? Any thoughts on who to have fix it?

Thanks!

Should be easily repaired. You can prob DIY with a $5 plug kit, that's what I'd do first.

Around here there are several good-ol-boy gas stations that would plug it in 10 min for $10-20.

If you want it done 'the right way', take it to a shop that can remove the tire, install an internal patch-plug combo, then rebalance the tire.

A tire with a nail going straight through that's not near the sidewall can generally be fixed with a plug alone. If done properly, the plug will vulcanize and last the life of the tire. A nail going in at an angle or near the sidewall should be repaired with both a plug and a patch on the inside, or it may not be repairable at all.

Looking at the picture I'd probably just pull the nail out, plug it and not worry about it. If you are worried about it, go to a reputable shop and have it done professionally.
