With the cluster out there is 1 7/8" to 1 3/4" distance between duct and dash pad. little more open on the left side then the right side. you can deflect the pad and duct about 1/2" at best.

ofer by the looks of the pic i think the dash is gonna have to come out but i do like the idea of pulling the steering colum instead of taking it apart

I think we just need to lift the dash 1 inch to put the hud by guage cluster compartment,
without touching the steering column

looks like two of the holes are hidden inside the duct work. How easy is it to seperate the duct work to get to them? doesn't look good......
