Loose spoiler 2SS - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Watch out folks. There are 2 bolts on each side holding down the spoiler. The 2 on the left both were missing the nuts. They are in the trunk lid. Had to remove 1 and switch sides till I can take it in for them to look at. JEES.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check mine right now. Someone in another thread rented a CGM 2SS and said the left side of the spoiler was flapping... Probably the same problem.

Did you get the stripes?

I know I had to take my truck liner out and tighten mine. The one had fallen off and was rattling in the trunk lid!

If you've had stripes installed I'd say go back over them when you take delivery.

Things like this happen. It sucks but production with humans isnt perfect although we try our best. QC is suppose to catch everything but they dont. imagine a guy building a car while having troubles at home and trying to keep that stuff at home but its hard.

OH, I'm not facepalming you by any means. I always just post this when ever somebody finds a problem with their car. It's kinda something that I do.

I literally facepalm every time I see something wrong with this car. It saddens me. I'm just saying inside, "damnit, I want top quality".:(

It did not come with stripes. No one has touched the car. It came loose from bad quality. Simple enough

My car does the same. When I open the trunk I hear something inside rattling. Now I know what it is. This makes three annoying issues with my car. The other two are the passenger side A pillar trim popping out and the weatherstripping on the driver's side is visible from the outside of the car when the door is closed. The weatherstripping gets tucked under the bottom of the door sill.

Hey just wondering if you heard a nut rattling in the trunk itself. I just heard today something rattling around in there. I have no idea what it is. So on top of that I have a paint issue with the bumper. I am really getting frustrated.

Just went out and checked the spoiler, dang thing is loose. I am so freaking pissed.
