I got my gm blade spoiler a while ago but the weather until now has not allowed me to install it. I placed the template that came with it on the trunk as per the instructions and verified that the holes that were identified to be drilled lined up with the bolts of the center section. Everything seemed correct so I placed masking tape under the locations, center punched the hole locations and drilled the holes. I did not have a stock spoiler so it was very nerve wracking to drill the holes but it looks like the center piece will fit perfectly and the trial fit looks great. I just painted the sides of the holes and will continue with the installation tomorrow

Here is my question to those of you who have installed the spoiler. It looks to me like the holes identified on the supplied template for the two side pieces are not in the right location. It is very hard to really tell as the length of the bolts in the spoiler ends and their shape make it hard to verify.

ARE THE HOLES MARKED IN THE TEMPLATE FOR THE TWO SIDE PARTS IN THE RIGHT LOCATION?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated from those of you who have done the installation. I am taking pictures of each step and will post the pictures after my install is completed.

Not a fan. I love the look from every angle but the rear. From the rear view it just looks too odd IMO. Just sayin. Nice ride tho.

I have one of these spoilers in the box waiting for the car to get here, any info on the side drilling template would be greatly appreciated by me also.

So, you have to drill holes for the RH and LH sides. When it's all done, you've drilled 2 holes into each "Quarter Panel" Do'h! Are you kidding me...

Now, what if you ever want to go back to the original spoiler?

Well I put the blade spoiler on today...I don't know if I like it or not...gonna clean the car tomorrow and will take some pics...just not sure I like how it looks from the rear.
Might take me a few days to really decide if I like it..anyways, if I decided to take it off, can a good body shop fill the four holes that I drilled in the quarter panels and make it look like they were never there? Just paint the holes over and not the whole car...just wondering..
