Honestly, I am very familiar with the heritage Of the 1LE. Although, coming from a Boss 302, and recently sold GT500, it's definitely new territory. I just found the 1LE today, hopefully it will be in my garage tomorrow! I agree with you guys, after looking at the used prices, and hearing from all of you, I feel lucky to have found this car.. thanks guys!!
Why wouldn't the 5yr/50K Warranty go with - GM switched to 3yr/36k in 2016

There is a reason the dealer is dumping the car for a 10K loss unless they sold it and took it back as used or as a lemon, or it's been wrecked.
I don't think they are losing $10k. Last year during the Black Friday 20% Off sale, you could get a 2SS/1LE at around the $35-36k Price before Dealers kicked in a little more

Bumper-to-Bumper coverage is for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Powertrain coverage is for the first 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.

I have that exact car, 15 with the same
Options, color and all. Absouetly LOVE it. Got it 20% off which made it even better. You can't go wrong with a loaded 1le imo.

IMHO , go drive a 2017 when they come out and don't let a few thousand dollars bother you . The 2017 1LE is going to be far better in every way . That 2015 left over is now or will be a 2 year old car by the end of August or September.

The 17 can't be had in 2SS trim like the 15 the OP is looking at plus it will cost a lot more than a few thousand.

I say go for it if you haven't by now.

2017 Better in every way? Have you seen the back seat? Might as well pull it out cause Noone can sit in it.. I know for me it was a big deal to have some room in back. Occasionally want more than me and the wife to go somewhere... if no back seat needed might as well look at a used vette or even a cayman..

The look and performance of a '17 1LE will be something to behold. That said, I agree with pbsinternet's comments above when it comes to the back seat. It was a strong factor in my decision to go with a '15 model instead of a '16 SS. Each person's situation and preferences will vary, so respect all those who would express a preference for the new model.

Interested to hear what you decide, and good luck!
