This just happened to me. I put in the 41-162 because that's what was given to me at my local NAPA. This was last month and I only put about 200 miles on the car since then. Car seemed to run fine. My tuner just finished putting a cam in my car today. He changed the plugs as I'm going with a blower in a month or so. He told me the 41-162's were for GM trucks. Was told they didn't hurt or hinder anything and he's seen it before.

Didn't ask him if it was straight up wrong to use them though. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Give it a little while. I'm sure some others will post who know a heck of a lot more about those plugs than me.

Rock Auto just sent me the same plugs. I assume it's just an alternative part number and works fine.

41-110 = Iridium spark plugs
41-162 = platinum spark plugs

Iridium better conductor and have higher melting point and requires less voltage to initiate a spark.

Platinum low cost, last longer then cooper

I guess GM switched to platinum for cost cutting, I perdsonally run 41-104 which is Iridium plugs out of ZR1 & ZL1 they are a step colder plugs.

The 41-162 are Iridium. I read a few months ago someone saying that the 41-110s are being discontinued. I think it was another member on this site, but I don't remember the post.

The 162's seem to fit the hole and sparkify when they're supposed to?

Just put my 41-162 in my Camaro over the weekend, gapped to 0.040 and they were great.
