LFX Cylinder Head Cleaning?
Has anyone ever attempted to remove the top of the LFX engine to clean the cylinder heads? What level of skill does it require? I can't find a DIY for it. The carbon deposits in my engine are too caked up to be removed with solvents in a can. Thanks in advance.

No need to remove the cylinder heads, the intake is all that needs to be removed if you want to walnut blast them. But they can be chemically cleaned and thats how the dealership does it.
Me, i just clean mine chemically before every oil change and theres plenty of vids on the 'tube to show you how do an upper induction cleaning. That stuff is designed to remove it too.
