Unless the driver has very very little experience, no. GTR's have extremely efficient trans and suspension. Usually you will need quite a bit more hp to beat one. Of course, there is only one way to know for sure..

Yea.... 600rwhp from a roll and he is already in boost..... Id have to edge to the GTR.
I would like to see how it goes! Just maybe don't put money on it.

run him. from a roll, it's basically who makes peak power quickest. auto / tires will have less effect on the outcome.

I never understood the desire to do roll runs, especially against a turbo car. It gives them all the advantages. Please post the videos.

With your car being an auto and if tuned properly the way the root charger turn up, it should be a great race with the edge to you. I have a buddy that does have both cars (ZL1 and GTR)and actually the GTR is more dangerous off the line due to being all wheel drive. The weight on both are close to one another as well.

From a roll is probably your best bet. They are auto only so he wont have to worry about shifting and he will already be in boost, but so will you with your supercharger. Pray that 80 more HP is enough to fight his weight advantage. Godzilla off the line with that AWD launch control is no joke. I don't see you winning that at all. Good luck, post the results!

It would be nice if OP listed the year of both his ZL1 and the contenders GT-R for reference. Also would be curious as to the discrepancy of posting that his ZL1 has 680 to the wheels but in his "drives" section it says 653rwhp? For his sake, I would hope that it's the 680rwhp that reigns true.
From a dig I'd say it's hopeless. Reasoning is because a stock base GT-R does a 0-60 with launch control in 2.9 seconds with 545 crank HP. Where as the later model nismo's have 600 crank HP and do it in 2.7 seconds. Factor that ridiculously quick 0-60 time in after the parasitic drivetrain loss of it being both auto and AWD. If OP is suggesting that this GT-R has 600 to the wheels, cut that quick time down even more provided traction isn't an issue. A roll race really is your only bet. Even then, your supercharger isn't as good in top end power like the twin snails the GT-R has is. I don't see you winning either one, but a roll is gonna be your best bet. Keep us posted!

I would give you the advantage. You have a much better power/torque to weight ratio, and his awd will be less advantageous from a roll. You both have an auto, so your challenge is not to blow the tires away from that speed. I would even say it could be a drivers race from a dig if you can launch well with your tire set-up.
