FASTFATBOY probably looks at this point. I have the larger slotted & cross drilled rotors, stainless lines & DOT 4 fluid, but I’m wanting the 6 piston fronts. I’m surprised the ZL1 has 2 piston rears like the SS.

SS and ZL1 are 4 piston rears. V6 got 2 piston rears

Are the pad # below the same Pads just AC VS Brembo part #? If not which is the better all around pad?
Anyone have the AC # for the rears? Thanks

I'm pretty sure the Delcos are not ceramic, where the Brembos you have selected are. Not sure why RockAuto does not show a semi-metalic Brembo because they surely make them. If you want the factory pad, go with the Delco or look up the correct Brembo part on their website. If you want pads that have different characteristics in one area or another, there are tons of choices. A lot of guys like the Power Stop Z26 for the street as they give good performance with less dust. I run them on the vert and they work pretty well, but have much less bite than Hawks DTC70s which I run at the track. On the turbo car, I run Dynamic Friction 3000s and have yet to run those brakes at the track, but I will likely choose Hawks again.

Yes I know the ZL1/SS Rears are the same I was just wondering if anyone knew the factory part number and if the AC Delco # above is the factory #, I like the OEM pads on my SS and I am assuming the ZL1 OEM Pads are a similar compound. I can do some research and find the # when I get home.

Rockauto list an ACDELCO pad and a GM pad. ACDELCO does not always mean OEM equipment. The ACDELCO 171-1040 seems to match the GM #.

Rear is GM GENUINE 1710882.

I used the 171-1040 when I swapped over to ctsv calipers in 2019.
