Rattle in the rear interior.....

Hey all,

I am experiencing the most annoying rattle/squeak in the rear (speaker panel) passenger side of the interior. Has anyone run this down?? It happens more often in cold weather. It is driving me crazy!!!

It almost sounds like styrofoam squeak when it is really cold. Mostly when hitting bumps and such. I searched for this assuming it has been out there before, but found little.

Thanks!!

The clips that hold your rear seat are the ones that squeak. They are the ones at the top of seat that you push down to release seat. I released seat and put a little dap of oil on the metal clips and it's gone now. Hope this helps.

Sorry to hear about this occurrence and I understand any frustration this causes. While I understand you're seeking community opinions and responses, feel free to message me privately (if you feel an official GM diagnosis is needed) and I'll reach out to a customer care specialist. They help resolve customer issues at the dealer level.

Sincerely,

William R.

I will try some of the simple "fixes" that I have heard. If this does not fix the problem, I will certainly ask for some professional GM help.
Thank you very much for this.
