Saying good bye to the Camaro

After a few months of thinking and with the recent life changes I have been going through, it was time to sell the Camaro and move on into something more fitting for what I need now.

I need a good daily driver 4 door sedan but still have that excitement factor and be a good platform for the routine mods. I was also getting sick of driving a manual in city traffic. I tested a variety of cars and I won't go into that right now but in the end I decided to go with this:

It's a 2018 Dodge Charger SRT 392 in F8 Green Metallic. 6.4 Hemi engine. It comes with the windows tinted and lowered with Eibach springs. It has the tech package, Harmon Kardon audio group, power sun roof, red seat belts, black laguna leather interior, 20" forged wheels, 6 piston brembo's up front, 4 piston out back, 275 wide pirelli summer tires on all 4 corners, and what I love most about this car is the 8 speed transmission. It has the paddle shifters and rev matching down shifts and is super fun to drive. 3 way adjustable suspension, transmission, steering and traction settings and of course the performance pages. It's everything you would get with the Hellcat but the engine. All this and it has 4 doors to haul the kids around and be an excellent daily driver. This was my second choice. I had my sights set on a 2017 used Hellcat that had 500 km's on it. The day I went in to purchase it they had another buyer who paid full price for it. I got them down from their asking price. They did call me and asked if I would be willing to match the other buyer but I said no. If I would have they would sold it to me first but in the end I got a better deal with this one. But man I was so excited to get the Hellcat and was so close but I'm stoked with this Charger. I absolutely love the color.

I'm not saying good bye to everyone here. I plan on still checking and seeing what's going on. I want to thank everyone here who has given me good tips and advice over the 8 years being here. Lots of cool cats here and this is one of the best forums I've been a member of.

Rob.

Congrats on the new ride, but I’m not a fan of the color. Sorry.

Awesome color, but I would do something about the red calipers. They don't go with the green at all. They would look good in gray or black.

Congrats. Like the color. Never seen one dressed out like that. Is the hood scoop functional?

Thanks and yes that hood scoop is functional. I have to take better pics. The camera in my phone sucks. The pics don't do the color justice.

OP is in Canada. Chevy SS not available there. In fact, unless you can find a leftover, they're no longer available anywhere.

Tell me about it. It doesn't snow too much where I live. A good set of winter wheels and tires is all I need. And I don't even know wtf wooley boogers are so yeah.
