What model Camaro do you want?

Okay, I think this might have been posted before, but I searched, and didn't find anything, so here it is. What kind of model are you going to get? V6, V8, SS, or Z28?

It's hard to say because we dont know what is what yet, but i voted for Camaro SS because i hope that is what the Base V8 is called.

I'm thinkin SS. I would love a top-dawg Z28, but that isn't due til the 2011 model year, and besides, it might be a bit too pricey for me. I'll be thrilled to have a new Camaro SS ordered the way I want!

Whichever one is the top-of-the-line, loaded out model. That's what I plan on buying sans sunroof(I like the reverse mohawk better, plus it saves weight), and automatic transmission(unless the auto has paddle shifters, in which case I might reconsider).

As long as I can get at least a 400hp V8 I'll be happy. If I can afford the SC'd model I'll be happier. But I kinda like the Z-28 name. Who knows which model will get which name.

I want the Z28 so I voted for that, but I'm buying the biggest M6 V8 thats available when it's released, as long as it's ~400-450......whatever it is.

I voted for the generic 'Camaro V8' since we don't know what the base model is going to be called yet.

Though I'd prefer it was called a 'Z28'.

I too want a Z/28, and the best handling Camaro possible...... as long as the V8 has more hp than my 2002 had, it will be a good enough place to start . I would like it to be affordable. My loaded 02 was 27,642 msrp..... I hope the new Z/28 can start near there....28+ options.

Well if the Z28 is top dog it will be the Z. which goes perfect with my 98. except the fact the Z for the 4th gens was second rate next to the SS. lol.

2nd rate!!!! watch it.....
I just hope the Z will be under $30k, I do not care if the SS is above or below anymore. I miss my 02 Z/28, want another one (10) but will not go near $40,000 for it.

well I put second rate because the SS got suspension upgrades and ram air hood etc. while our Z's got stiffer suspensions over the V-8 and was the base V-8. NOW the Z is looking to be the top dog again. at least the rumor mill is making it out to be. we will hopefully know in 91 days.

I went with the V-8, till I know what the Base v-8's going to be, then we'll take it from there on what one I'll go for..

It's hard to vote when we don't really even know what the models will be. I could vote for a Z28 and that turns out the be the Turbo 4!

We are speculating that the Z28 may be the sc 500+ hp, but not sure I'll be able to crank out that kind of green. An upper end V8 will do nicely. Really depends on what is offered and at what price.
