I just ordered a Dart 427 from them today. It’s the 1800hp rated one they just put on sale this month. I wasn’t really planning on buying an engine this soon but I thought it was a pretty good deal. Broke the snout off my SBE LS3 a couple weeks ago, luckily it still had oil pressure though.

That’s the link to the shortblock. They don’t have the sale advertised on the website but they do on Facebook, it’s around $6700 for the short block.

That’s a killer deal. I didnt pay much less for the 1300hp short block a few months back.

I had to drive cross country to bring a friend home from Alaska, remodeled the beach house kitchen and finally got the radiator replaced. The G4 is in and its definitely making more boost. I started with the 95mm pulley and saw a peak of 18psi at 7300. Today I’ll swap in the 90mm sc pulley which should bump it up to 20. IDC is at 80% though. Gotta keep an eye on that, but other wise the tune is still really close. Only about 2% maf error above 4000rpms. I’m gonna pull 1 degree of timing, do a few street pulls to see if its happy and then hit the dyno. It’s pretty wet if Florida this week, so gotta wait on that.

I did 4 60mph hits for data collection and it spun the first 3 times around 90mph. The 4th pull stayed mostly planted. Pulls nice when it hooks.

15s

The 18inch wheels just wouldn't cut it. It was just unusable. Had to do the 15 inch conversion. I went the BMR route with Carlyle brakes. I can hardly tell that the rears are grey and the fronts are darkstar. Looks good enough for me.
I bought the wheels/tires/brakes from a local guy and just noticed the tires are from 2017. First 60mph pull it spun as usual around 5200rpm. I decided to install a larger pulley, drop tire pressure to 17cold, stiffen up the rear coilovers and move the BMR anti roll bar to the middle hole. After warming the tires a bit, I was able to hook up decent when rolling into the throttle in second gear with some spin up top. It's an improvement. I'll just have to keep working on it until I can turn the boost back up. Looks like its only making 16psi right now, but havent taken it to 7000.

I'm guessing you mean to remove the air filter? I don't think that's necessary, but we will see. I'm already running the AirRaid Track Day air filter. It's basically just a very fine screen. It doesn't filter as well as the K&N, but it flows much better. The larger G4 blower should get me to 1000 without meth or removing the filter housing. We'll see in a couple weeks.

Besides the air filter piping provides the vacuum source for my Crank case ventilation. I would rather not pop the rear or front crank seal just to make a number. If it makes 999, it is what it is.
