I can't imagine someone really thinking the A6 is faster. People buy autos for different reasons. That being said, I'm extremely happy with my A6 in Houston traffic . . . and with CAI, LTs and a tune it's plenty fast (and evil sounding).

You said a 5th gen SS would NEVER run a 12.XXX stock. Both the manual and auto have done this. You said that you would eat your words if any did. While this car is not much quicker than the 4th gen, the 01-02 ran plenty of high 12's. To think this car would be SLOWER is just funny to me.

tell ya what...bring your Brand new stock 12 second camaro to Vegas and well run em....if you win..or even crack 12's... I'll eat the time slip and you can video tape it for youtube...Fair enough?
I suspect a new owner will see his share of 14's before he even whittles the 13's into respectable territory....don't magazine race..it doesn't work out real well for people that do...but if you got the money honey..I got the time.
