LOL they said it'd be in the "upper tier of compact vehicles" that's setting it up to fail! I don't buy this for a second. They could have brought back the Chevelle and decided to do Camaro instead. They won't do another muscle car. There's not enough profit in it for them.

considering there's already going to be a new Impala, i don't see how there's room for another car in the Chevrolet lineup.
after the compactsthere'ss Cruze Malibu Impala And it says GM could be preparing a new performance car for Chevy. WHY? The Camaro and Corvette are there for performance. I don't see it. adding another car to the lineup would be going back to the bloated lineup days.

I would love to see the ChevElle and nova brought back. my idea would be do the chevelle on the cts platform, all ready to produce coupe, sedan, and wagon.(like charger challenger magnum) then the camaro can be lightened to give mustangs hell as the chevelle would go against challenger . for the nova it would be a cavalier sized car. both 2 and 4 door available like the old Novas and Cavs , but as a AWD V6 with a turbo SS available. something to compete with WRX and evos . make the impala a big car again, I'm talking land yacht . scrap the Malibu and just make it a trim on the chevelle.

As much as I would love to see this happen, I don't believe it will. GM tried bringing back the Pontiac GTO and that didn't go as well as expected or should have. Chrysler is doing "OK" with the Charger, but still no 2-door model to bring it back to the "old days" muscle car Chargers. I see they're going to try a "Super-Bee," but without a sportier 2-door model, I'm guessing there won't be a lot of success. The Camaro came back to compete with the Mustang and Challenger and that's been a real hit. Anyway, I just can't really see any more muscle cars coming from GM given the current times.

It would but nice if it would be the size of a challenger or maybe a rebadged cts coupe I suppose. Would be dope if it had the lines of a lacurne In a coupe

Why you would want GM to scrap one of its most recognizable and best-selling midsize cars is beyond me.
