Gotcha, IAT2 is the sensor on the lid the measures the temps going into the intake runners on the SC... post intercooler. The ZL1 and Caddys, can measure the two temps...

Well now that I got everyone side tracked with the IAT question. What is good coolant to run in the heat exchanger? I was thinking engine ice.

I only ask because I had an 01 cobra with the 03 cobra blower on it and we set it up to read iat2's so it would pull timing when soaked
We have s special iat 1 map for just this as we don't want to see such big swings in timing.Its ctually very simple to tune this way once you have done it for 4000+ times.
Lingenfelter and I have been doing it this way since maggies first saw ls engines

Keep in mind we are not tuning your car unless we build it so be careful on which direction you go.

Keep in mind that the sensor in the lid has a different slope than the one in the maf...Be careful.

Slope= resistance versus temperature output

It is changeable but you need to double check it...would suck to be 90 degree dataloged heat and really 180

So what about the coolant for the heat exchanger? Run the same as what's in the car?

Did your kit come with instructions?? There is a lot there that I'm clueless on far as wiring and the big bolt/spacer.

I remember reading this in the instructions of your kit! So I just need to find the values for the iat2 position of a zl1! Would you happen to have them?

That is for drilling and pinning the crank pulley.

mine did not come with instructions, but its pretty staright forward. as far as the iats...i bought the iat breakout kit from caspers electronics. i am using the iat2 sensor in the lid. If whipple and magnusen use their iat sensor in the blower, there is a reason!!

I cut and soldered mine (cheaper lol) but the iat sensors have different values and need changed in the tuning software to be accurate. Andy explained a couple posts back, if you missed it. And sorry if this post wasn't directed towards me
