Weapon X LT4 Billet Lid pictures of actual product inside

Some pics of the LT4 billet lid (black anodized with the milled fins, unanodized aluminum also) here for reference including the internal air divider. Will be posting up some pics of my own when its delivered today and measuring internal volume vs stock and such, plus review thoughts.

Looks nice other than milling marks but I doubt that will affect the performance at all.

I will have volume measurements and pics of my own one today. If its the same or very similar volume, not much dyno change expected except maybe a bit better airflow from the divider. Will see soon.

I would like a little more whine from the supercharger but these are expensive pieces for that purpose. Looking forward to your results.

There are many lids available for the LT4 but I've never heard of any performance improvement from the lid itself unless with methanol or N2O or .

Product notes: Mill work is noticeable but not horrible IMO. Anodizing could be better but not bad really, def not bad enough to return. Gasket transferred nicely, no issues installing. Of note, the height is about the same as stock, internal volume appears less based on water measurements, but not a huge amount.

Sound Clip: Definitely increased as RPMs/load increase, very pleasant, very noticeable even on a stock box/filter. Video is a roll on from 1st-3rd, not full WOT until the top to avoid traction issues. Its cold outside!

Link:

Performance: Def torque boost noticed midrange to me and the throttle seems a bit sharper too. No negatives noticed at all so far.

Compared to the info from Kong for their LT5 airflow divider in that application, may be some sense to this too. I know thats not a stock car though and such, but I am pretty sensitive on the butt dyno. Doesnt matter though, you'll have to make your own judgement call.

Kinda eh.

Stock looks better and if no performance gain, why go uglier

I'm not wild about the stock lid but I haven't seen any aftermarket lids yet that really make me jump either.

I think I'm more surprised there is actually less volume.

Hey FoundNemo, wonder if you would notice more of a performance difference and sound if you installed a Roto-Fab CAI!

I'll be curious to see how the anodizing holds up over time. Most black items that see alot of heat turn purple over time.
