You're basing this off a pre-production car with taillights from Autozone.

Based on the drawings and this, I like the current Malibu better. But it will be due for some change by then. I wish the Impala would get some attention, though.

This reminds me of when people saw white spyshots of the Camaro. White preproduction cars hardly show any detail. Paint it blue or red and let it sit in a showroom or even just sunlight and it will look dramatically better.

So are we going to get another set of genaric tail lights that you cant tell from a honda along with the flogged dead horse \__/ trunk shape that sucks so bad because its used on every toyota honda crapmobile out there...

I hope not, make it look like its own!

You do understand those aren't the production lights right? A big hint is the black plastic housing. But look at some of the other recent renderings:



Near as I can tell, there are only 3 trunk openings possible:
_ ...._ (narrow because of fenders and lights)
.|__|

_____ (full rear panel, very high lift over)


\___/ (current standard for nearly every car in the world)

They're not going to make something with a sawtooth just to be different.
