Then thats even sadder. lol

I wouldn't exactly brag about New England dragway, Epping was pretty rundown for years. Went there for a few IHRA divisional races and was always underwhelmed.

I'm always open to discussing hockey, but please use better context, something other than "beat down". Tell me WHY teh Bruins will do better? Running more trap? Chara's training regiment? Why Rask will be better this year.

They did get there act together at the track and got Top Fuel back this year and got it up to code with the Big Boys. You a Steeler fan too ?? LOL

Sure, I think its a given being from the area.

But I specialize more in hockey. I follow all hockey for the most part:

NHL - Pittsburgh Penguins (on season ticket waiting list later this year)/Columbus Blue Jackets
AHL - Wilkes-Barre/Scranton - former season ticket holder
ECHL - Wheeling Nailers
WHL - Tri City Americans
NCAA - Robert Morris/Harvard/St. John's

I played rec inline in college and play pickup and league ice all year around now.

Nice...I played HS hockey,,then mens leagues, and practiced with some college guys from St.A's and St Paul's ...those guys could shoot the puck...I was a goal tender..Took it seriously in Bantams (15) 1971 and played until I was 26. Then played again at age (40) for 12 games....and then hung up the pads. Old school hockey was he best..no helmets,Donny brooks, Orr ,Sanderson,Espo....Also followed the Flyers...Bernie Parent ,Clarke, Moose DuPont.......and I still hate the Canadiens !!!!!
