Long Tube headers budgetary

I would like to get some opinions on whether LT with DNA is recommendable. Picture

I would go with Texas speed for good less cost effective ones.

I'm sure they work but I don't know know anything about their quality. They could be using mild steel or cheap stainless at that price. We have some very solid prices on TSP and Speed Engineering. They might be a few bucks more but if you're planning on keeping the car for a couple seasons you'll be glad in the long run.

Do some research here on the THOUSANDS of threads on this topic alone. You will find a common theme. There are a handful of quality choices that have proven their worthiness.

I would not go cheap on headers, could have fitment issues or leaking issues, etc.

I’d stay within the big four . Tsp, arh, speed engineering , kooks There’s dyno tech too but I’ve always chose the other

I was looking for a budget header and ended up installing the speed engineering headers just last week. No fitment issues on my set and have a nice polish to them. Paid around $340 shipped from juiced with O2 extensions and couldn't be happier. Also very easy to install (and I am no mechanic).

Forum favorites:
High price: Kooks, ARH, Stainless Works
Mid price: OBX, Texas Speed, Stainless Power
Budget: Speed Engineering

**Speed Engineering does not offer high flow cats. Texas Speed makes high flow cats that will work with them, but for not much money more you can get a full Texas Speed kit with high flow cats and their headers if you need/want cats.

We installed Stainless Power on my 2011 SS L99 back in 2012, which are made by Stainless Works, they are their budget headers. The fit and finish was excellent and no different than their SW ones. I still have them on the car, daily driver and I live in Florida, salty air, and they look great just like they did when we installed them. No leaks or any problems so far. Good luck in your choice. After the install and tune, I picked up 37rwhp over base tune.

Stainless Power is another good value based header. We can get you a really solid price on those as well.
