The Corvette L52 Motor
Last night I went to a local bi-weekly drive in car show. I was talking to a guy with a silver Corvette that had 427 emblems on it. He told me it was a 2008, he purchased it 2 weeks ago and that it really had a 6.2 in it. I was not sure what year the LS3 came out so I asked if it had the LS3 or the LS2. He told me that it had the L52 which I did know was not a Chevy motor and I told him that. He quickly opened the hood and pointed to the emblem on the motor and said "See it is a L52". Doing my best to keep from laughing I told him that it was an S and not a 5. He gave me the look like, Wow buddy you sure are stupid. I finally walked away and I am sure he still thinks he has a L52.

Vette owners are cool, they had our engines long before us.

It sounds like neither of you know what you're talking about. If it was a z06 with a 427 in it it was a 7.0L LS7...

I just can't believe that you were right there and , you fail to identify it
You had an opportunity to point out to the proud corvette owner , that what he really have ins't what he thinks , and very slow pointed to him , that what he's got and without knowing is a very strong case of DYSLEXIA That's all there is to it |

If it was a 2008 and not a Z06 then it would have an LS3 not an LS2. If it did have an LS2 it wasn't a 2008 then.

Its the fault of not taking his vitamins that day with his prune juice and not wearing his bifocals. The silver makes the grey hair less noticeable too.........
