It would be interesting to know how many but i bet they never release final numbers. How many Ford GT's do you see? Nismo GTR's? Shelby GT 350"R"'s. I have only ever seen one of each tho's cars. But i have seen Many Zl1Le's in person...

Just my 2 cents Im sure there is more way more than the claimed 750
This is great news for those of us who hasn't purchased yet. I have seen them $5K off MSRP already. For how great this car is and how close it comes to the GT3 performance, I will have one.

The great thing about GM is they have no issues whoring their performance cars out, which is great for those who have some patience and can wait to buy until the hype wears down.

By the time my lease is up on my M3 in Nov., I should be able to pick a 1LE up for about $8-$10K off MSRP, maybe more.

You can routinely find Z06's for $15K off MSRP, same for Grand Sports.

Distribution of ZL1 1LEs in the allocation system is strictly tied to past performance selling Camaros, and even Corvettes. Some dealers who excel in volume sales in the US received no ZL1 1LEs because of that volume...maybe one or two were Camaros, all year.

While dealers can trade between each other...those dealers who DO get them, will not generally want to let go of them, because it may be the only one they get all model year.

Just some food for thought.

That really doesn't matter unless you are hell bent on getting your car local. Anytime I shop a high cost performance car, I look nation wide. It doesn't cost more than about $2K to go from coast to coast to have it shipped, while you can save thousands more by shopping nation wide.

I saved a NET of about $6K when I got my M3, compared to local dealers. I did the same thing with my old 09' Z06 as well.

My dealer (i'm an employee) and I had to wait about 5 months for a allocation to finally come up for them. But buying it at dealer cost minus half of hold back was worth the wait for a kid like my self lol

Absolutely. I was responding to Tomster's comment about dealers "not trying very hard." Allocation isn't really up to them - but the customers are free to search everywhere!

A while back when this rumor had started and I was considering the purchase of, I called chevy. I was told they would build as many ZL1 1LE 's as they could sell. Supply and demand...

The deal from Bomnin, you must qualify for a $2000 rebate to get the price. Plus a $895 doc fee, and $399 electronic filling fee. But it's still a great deal. The local dealers are rare to get them to match a Bomnin deal. I got mine within $750 of the Bomnin deal, but I qualified for the $2000 rebate. I seriously doubt they will go cheaper than the Bomnin price before they are sold out for 2018.

You can probably call the heritage center if you're curious.

I am just glad I was able to get back in the game quickly after my accident and purchase a 2018. I would have not gotten a 2019 because of the new tail lights.

The GM at the dealership told me that if I was to order one it would probably be a 2019 model year. They had two orders in the pipe line that have not been picked up yet.

Normally true but not entirely true. My dealer doesn’t sell many camaros at all but my sold order got picked up even though the dealer had no allocation yet due to the fact that Chevy wanted to fill production. I ordered the car in December and was told I would not see it until may andbthe first car came in in February with 11k in damage but it’s replacement came in on April 21st. My dealer had to talk to rep to get the car.
