That sounds like a deal, the car still needs to be broken in the right way.

Congrats and welcome. I have been running Nitrous on my L99 for over a year without issues. I had the DOD disabled in a tune. VVT is very good, you would want to leave that if you upgrade the lifters and a cam. Nice looking car you got there. Check out the link in my signature if you want to see how I transformed my car to get in the mid 11s. Looking at a cam and the fixins next.

Nothing wrong with vvt. If you plan to cam the car you’ll want to replace the arm lifters though. Been track man6 times on drag radials and no issues either. Ls3 cars have had issues but not a whole lot of people ave had issues with the auto.

Hey guys i just did the low octane fuel trick between last night and this morning.....wtf! As expected the dealer filled the car up with reg last week when i bought it and I drove around all of yesterday to run it out, filled it up with 93 and pulled the fuses last night to reset the computer and re-installed them this morning and went for a ride. Wow what a difference.....car could barely spin a tire now can roast em pretty good! Who in the world way back in 2010 found this secret about the computer relearning niceee!

Beautiful Car.... Looks like mine did many years ago..... Welcome back from the dark side.... You did lot of work if you had a 4th Gen in the 11's....

The 5th Gen is a lot easier to get there...... I made it into the 10's with my car but drag racing isn't my bag.... I wish my car still looked as good as yours.... I'm about 23,000 miles on mine though the last few have been pretty exciting....

I like to stretch her legs out a bit....

Welcome to the Madness We call Camaro5....
